Funny story now but definately not at the time. installing the bolt and dreaded washer i needed a little extra clearence around the heater hose so i turned the clamp maybe a half inch out of the way and bamff and coolant went everywhere. who knows how much went down to the oil pan, i worried at first but thats the only place it could go, i hope
It happens. Once I topped off my hpop after an injector swap and then attempted to start the engine without putting the plug back in the reservoir. I launched a geyser of oil all over the place.

What do you mean? that system is a self contained oil system and you need to suck the reservior out to get any oil out of that hole! That isn't fed by the lube oil system! LOL Yeah right!
Got lucky myself. Needed to pull the Radiator line to get the bolt out so I was able to prepare for the massive amount of fluid about to pour into the resevoir. I cut side panel off a Budlight Box and wedged it between the reservoir and the hose before I pulled it. Worked like a charm. Just wish I would've put a small childrens pool underneath the front end to catch it. I guessed (wrong of course) that I would be ok with a 5GAL bucket strategically placed... BTW... T500 was installed with zero issues and it seems to have fixed part of my hard start, oil and fuel leak issues (thanks to Bob/Guzzle & Joey) and the power delivery is incredibly smooth. Could not be happier!!!
