100 mph in a 51

WoooooHooooo WHAT A RIDE this was today. Took this pic. while running 100 mph . Crazy i know !!!! life in the fast lane !!!!!

I bet people wont think the same about old truck after seen you pass them.
I think my truck would disintegrate if i push to to 60 mph!!!

Sweet, how did the truck feel at that speed? Was it pretty smooth?

It feels gooooooood !!!! Mustang 11 ifs handels like a dream !! Didn't take me long to get to my grandsons house. Had some pedal to go but was running out of road. LOL

Sweet!

I seen a 53 F100 at bonneville on the short course, the driver said he was going 100 or 105 can't remember for sure now? Body I don't think had been touched in 57 years and looked it, he was running a built up flatty in it. Not sure what front end he had either?

Bet that was fun, I think I'd be scared to push for half that in any of my trucks. Oh wait, that's assuming they were together and on road Lol.

I've had my 49 with the stock suspension at 90mph but its only been for a short stretch at the end of the 1/4 miles track.

Once I change out to the 2.78:1 gears I'm hoping to pick up a few MPH

lol i know its not the same at all, but a mustang II didn't feel comfortable at a 100 !! cool beans though...hope you didn't head back with the grandkids at that speed!!
I hope my jag front end will feel comfortable like that! thats when i start thinking about things like "hope these welds hold up!"
