map sensor location/help

wheres the map sensor at on a 95 F150 302? I was on fullsizebronco today and yesterday and they have an excellent writeup on redoing the vacuum lines. one part of it however was running a new line from your map sensor to the vacuum tree. they had a very nice picture but it looked like their engine bay and mine was different. does anyone have a picture of what their map sensor looks like? i think where mine is it had a heat shield type material covering it and when i pulled it off it had a plastic box covering and a line coming up out of the top of it. should that be it?

Your truck is MAF, not Speed Density therefore you do not have a MAP/BAP sensor. After 1994 Ford figured out the MAP sensor was not that useful when using MAF so they eliminated it.

That is a quick disconnect for the vacuum lines. No it is not necessary, you can bypass it by running the vacuum lines from the vacuum tree on the manifold to each device.
