Thumbs up 460 Fuel pump ecentric

Hello Everyone, What I want to do is put a mechanical fuel pump on my 84 E-350 Ford van 460 motor..... I have already taken the in-the tank fuel pump out and converted that part of it. Question is: Do I need an eccentric off a another 460 or will one fit from a small block... say like 351W?? Just need some fine Input. Thank's for your time.

One off a W will work. Does your engines front cover have the provision for a pump ?

Thanks Mark A...... the cover doe's have the provision for the mechanical fuel pump, I have been using an electric pump on the outside of the fuel tank mounted to the frame.... It has left me stranded on the highway. I paid anywhere from 60.00-120.00 for 3 different pumps... good brand names and were all junk to say the least. I'm tired of this problem. This is why I'm changing to a mechanical pump. Thank's for your time guys, appreciate it.
