1989 ford f150 chime box
#2
There is a guy on ebay who has one new in the Motorcraft box for $54, at the moment. (Proud, ain't he?) You can at least get the number from him.
It is an "F2" prefixed part, and was used in the more deluxe models. Go to your local auto recycler. I found one for my 1987 F250HD SuperCab in the local salvage, conveniently hanging down under the dash in plain sight in a 1997 F350 XLT CrewCab, so I grabbed it. Much nicer than the Custom level buzzer - and it includes the "seventh Pin" that chimes if you leave the lights on, as well as for seatbelt and key in ignition. Much Nicer! F250HD Custom.
PS- you might find the same chime in some Ford Cars, as well - it needs to be a black box with two screw hole mounting ears, probably F2 prefix and the standard seven pin hookup.
