The British may not understand pickups
#2
they don't have a clue too pickup trucks save for a few of them , and until they come visit the colonies they never will . trucks are the most versatile vehicle alive as they can be everything to everyone with a few checks on the order sheet , or the right parts added to an oldie . p.s. that episode is a lil' old , check out the one with the vauxhall vr8bathhurst and malloo as even though they are gm , hammond does get the whole muscle car / truck thing , and when he shows you what they call a truck you can begin to understand why they don't get them . i think it was a mazda or maybe a turdota he shows as what they refer to as a truck ........................

Man when I saw this way back when all I could think was dammit of course it's bad off road it's a lighting use an XLT or FX4. I know this was done a few years ago like 2004 2005 I'd be curious to see what their opinion of the 2011 Ecoboost F150 would be.. I read nothing but good things about them.

I watch Top Gear on BBC America sometimes. Sometimes it is quite interesting, informative & funny. The American guests are a hoot. Jeremy is the resident insulting A-hole-non-enthusiast-snob who plays the part to a "T". I suspect he would actually kill if they gave him a chance to keep that Lightning. Gaps in the dash be damned.
Its the "faster than a Boxter & 0-60 in 5" that is really important.

WTF! Gaps in the dash... loose steering!? Really!? IT'S A TRUCK FOR PETE'S SAKE! Those damn Brits think they're so sophisticated! Their stupid overpriced Land Rovers aren't any better than my 79 Bronco! Let him take a new 6.2 Raptor for a spin through the whoopty doos and see how he likes it! Or an Ecoboost F150. Hell what do I know, I'm just a beer drinkin, red meat eatin, Ford Truck drivin, red blooded AMERICAN... AND DAMN PROUD OF IT!
