Likelihood of tuner causing HPOP failure?
Is it practical? My dad's fronting the bill for me to get my HPOP replaced and he said he'd pay for it under the condition that I don't put the tuner back on, unless I can prove that the tuner didn't cause it. But does the tuner even affect the HPOP at all?

He said it's reading extremely low pressure. But right now, other than being out my truck for even longer, I'm not worried about that not fixing it because if it doesn't, he's gonna keep trying stuff until he does fix it and I'm only paying for the problem, and none of his extra crap that he's been guessing with.

I just disconnected my
Batteries and same thing the turbo didn't start the relearn. Also did seem to idle up higher like usual if it's been sitting idling for a bit.
Maybe we have a similar problem. Do you have any codes?
I have U1262 SCP (J1850) Communication Fault.
I checked my FICM and it seems ok. Maybe a re-flash will help?

Same here, I've had the turbo and batts out more times than I care to remember and after I get it all back together I start it and let it run while I check for leaks and gauges. I've never done a relearn and I'm pretty sure the truck does it on it's own. If you listen you can here the exhaust tone change as the veins sweep while it sits there running. Can really here it with the Powermax.

my truck hasnt been to the dealer for a couple years and I dont think its ever been reflashed that I know of
Its an 03/03 build and I have had my batts out last night and when I got it back together and ideling I could hear my exhaust tones change as the veins sweep
And if Im not mistaken you should be able to see the vgt duty cycle change as the veins sweep at idle [I havent verifyied this one yet]
