I wouldn't because the coatings that prevent the squeeking and such will have wear and weather checking. Not to mention the fun of pulling dirty parts off in a dirty junkyard with no guarantee.

When your vehicle came with air suspension from the factory, the rearend and chassis are set up for air springs....not to hold a coil spring. The BETTER coil conversion kits include a coil spring that is specially made to sit in the seat the air spring used to sit in. Makes for a quick and quality installation.
