Resurrecting my '85 (post-jackknife)
My '85 F250 Lariat used to be my baby. Fresh C6, brand new 466, I was trying to restore it to better than new one little bit at a time. Prettiest truck I ever saw....
Then one night last year I had a tire blow, I over corrected, and I jackknifed while towing a '69 F250 Crew Cab on my trailer....
I had it parked, I robbed the carb off it, and I planned to do something with it. I mean, it had a brand new engine and all....
So I pulled it out of the weeds (hard to do, it only turns one way now) and yesterday I went to work on the front end and (mostly) fixed the door)
Here are a few shots. I'm going to strip it to the firewall, attempt to fix the frame (damage is not as bad as I thought) and then either stick a new front end on it, or stick a 92+ front clip on it. Not sure. Either way, it'll get the same paint job.

Starting point-
I still laugh about this. When we jackknifed, the trailer pushed us quite a ways, passenger side first. We were in a construction area, and they had those big plastic orange drums out. My friend was in the passenger seat, squealing every ten feet when his door, which lined up perfectly with the row of orange barrels, punted another one down the road. THUNK-THUNK-THUNK-THUNK-etc. It just flung them off like rag dolls.
Posting these pictures makes me sad because I noticed my Lariat emblem missing from behind the passenger door recently. I figured (well, after a ride like that, I can't be surprised) but now that I see it was on the truck when the truck got back to the property, I believe someone stole it. *******s.
