Title says it. I have a 1976 Highboy play/boat puller.. I'm looking for a solid fe 360/390 longblock that is Reliable. The 360 that is in it is pretty rough and I don't feel like dumping tons of money into it to get everything fixed. With that said, who has a reasonably priced reliable 360/390 They are wanting to sell?
I have one that has under 10k on a rebuild. 360, torque grind cam, cam timing advanced, cast iron S code 4BBL intake and 600cfm Holley 4160 vacuum secondary 4BBL. Mirror "105" block, very strong engine, pulls loads with ease, and is being pulled for a diesel swap. Clutch has same miles as the engine, comes with DSII electronic ignition.
I also have a spare 390 crank and rods, and can provide engine with flexplate or flywheel.
$1200 takes it all, picked up in Rexburg, ID or I can crate and ship at cost.

Sure is, it currently has a center sump pan but I have a rear sump pickup and pan i can put on it for you to make it even more ready. I can shoot a video of it running tomorrow if you'd like.

I got a video, but it needs new plug wires.

You can hear a bit of a misfire at higher rpms, so I pulled the plugs and checked it all out, compression is fine at 155-160 across the board.
Here's a pic:
Here it is on the stand when I first put it together:

I've got a bone stock 352 here in Middle TN, smokes a little on start-up but came from a running/driving 1966. Carb needs to be fine tuned, it was a rebuilt that was just put on. $150 takes it home.
