Engine mounts changed from 2 bolts to 3 in '65:
Ford 352, 390, 406, 427 and 428 Engine Blocks
As original, this could be a 10.1:1 engine. And the heads will not like unleaded.

Are you planning on installing it and running it as is?

(sigh) How do you know the engine is a 390 and came from a T-Bird? Because that's what the seller claims?
NEVER believe a single word a seller claims! Private sellers can lie just a well as used/new car dealers, lawyers...and politicians.
And...On sale day, 352/360 engines magically become 390's.
While the only engine available in 1961/65 T-Bird's was the 390, how do you know that's the engine size in todays world, considering parts swapping?
And...If an FE engine is from a 1958/64 Passenger Car, the bolt pattern on the block is different where the rubber insulators bolt on.
This means that you'll have to fab up adapters to be able to use the trucks rubber insulators.
ALL 1965/76 FE engines installed in everything have a different bolt pattern.
Measure the stroke before passing along the green: 352/360 = 3.50" / 390 = 3.78" / 410/428 = 3.98"

THANKS i knew about the stroke difference , as for engine mounts i don't see it as a problem , my brother has a mill and i am real good at tig welding . worse case i can just steal the rotating assembly (if it's 390) and find a 360 block .
he says he has 352-360 and 390 engines has to many and needs to clean his garage out .
