2000 F-250 SD SC short bed V-10 Gear ratio
I am wondering how to tell what gear ration my f250 sd is. The tag on the rear diff. reads :
9 138 H
73 10 5 OD17
can you tell from these numbers what my ratio is?

I would say 3.73 non-LS. What is the Axle Code on the door tag?

Looks like a 3.73 ratio. I noticed that my front diff has the ratio stamped into the housing itself near the diff cover. My door tag is blank.

LOL, I am kinda new, what is non-LS?
I will look on the fron axle when my son gets home with my truck...

My 01 has a sticker on the backside of the front diff that clearly reads the ratio.

Non Limited-Slip. The limited slip usually is L73 in the code.
