Hello from CO Mountains

Hello,

I am Will. I just got a 1993 F250, It has the 7.3L IDI Turbo Diesel. Engine was Rebuilt by ATS Diesel recently (sports a new Garret Turbo) and the Transmission/transfer case was replaced with a reman unit around 15k miles back. truck now has 187k miles.

Mechanically, it works brilliantly so far, the exterior is rough and beat up, but its a my winter beater anyways.

It also has a 3rd fuel tank in the bed for vegetable oil. This was one of the crucial reason why i got it because of the veggie oil kit. Now I just need to find a place to get some veggie oil. Or build a filtering system, etc..

Anyways, need to bleed the brakes as they are way too spongy.

Bio-diesel, Propane & Alternative Diesel Engine Fuels - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums Here is a link to the page for bio-diesel, some great info there.
Try bleeding the brakes in this order, right rear, left rear, RABS module (on left side frame rail), right front, left front, that should get any air out. Also make sure that the rear shoes are properly adjusted up.
Good luck.
