yes sir, June has started out to be really tough. I think I am going to start using the Scrap yard heat index to evaluate temps....
Last year when it was 100 with heat index of 110, the we checked the temp where my guys are sorting Aluminum (by hand) thermal gun read 120.....

105 heat index right now. My shop just called to let me know that my 92 GT's AC is fixed to the tune of $270 which is cheap. (New belt, dye,vac,charge & hi press switch) Too bad I can't catch a ride to pick it up till tomorrow.

Good Morning everyone. This weather is so much better than when it is in the 20s and 30s. You can tell my age due to the thickness of my blood. Been working on the bed and rear fenders of Ole Betsy so I may have lost a pound or two. Pray you all have a great day. Harley

Evening men. It has been hot this week. I had to slow my workers down a bit. Pouring concrete in this heat will kill you. Had to put out extra coolers. It happens every year, I love this weather. Can't stand the cold anymore.
Had to put a timing belt on my sons car today, had to find a shade a few times.
The wife & I came out of wally world yesterday and she swore it smelled like rain. Sure enough there were puddles & damp pavement on a 1 mile area along Hwy 80 in west Brandon.
Sure would have liked to seen that...
