Ok, I got my truck towed to my transmission shop(free because it's major work) on Monday and by Afternoon that day they tested everything and all the obvious stuff like linkages and such were fine so the issue had to be inside and they ordered a rebuild kit by my ok. But I asked him if he could get the tv cable replaced and he asked "why? has it been popping off?" yes I say and he said "that's how 3rd and 4th got burned up, because the cable provides the constant high pressure for the fluid to flow and because the cable would pop off the pressure would drop and the gears were getting starved of fluid".

Thank my wonderful dumb*** brother for this.
