Dont want a bike, never cared to much for 2 wheel rides. Now if I could get a 351C to power one then I would think about it. The diesel, Im actually wanting one for my 4x4. Rather have a mechanical one just for simplicity but the PSD does make good power. Either a 6.9/7.3 IDI or Cummins. Would like to keep it all Ford but the frame & axles arent so it doesnt matter.

Gees, it's muggier outside than it's inside one of those Scandinavia steam rooms. That thunderstorm last night just got the ground wet so we'd have a over-sized "stop & rob" hot-dog bun warmer.

Not sure if I should say congratulation or I'm sorry. But on a serous note, I will say thank you.

Great, you've been talking to Jeff again He's converted another to the Amish way of life...

How long of a piece do you want? Or more importantly...how much weight can you hang off the truck before the springs buckle? I know where a couple pieces are that tip the scales at 175k-180k pound. I'm pretty sure the Princess could drag it down the road...though it would need a repaving and I'm not exactly sure how far I could drag it.

There you go hating again...I think we need to have an intervention at Mt. Holly. I'm sure between the efforts of Scott, Joe & myself...we'll bring you around to the dark side.

Jeff all anti-diesel? Theres nothing wrong with a 7.3l but I want the simplicity of a mechanical diesel. Not a TON of power but enough to handle general use.

I could actually use some RR ties. There is some on the south side of Clarksville from when they re did them, I just dont want to deal with cops if I stop & go to loading them up.

He's not anti-diesel; just high preformance powerhouse diesel. In Jeff's eyes, if it doesn't have an injection pump (non-HUEI)...it ain't worth owning.

Catch one of those UP pick-up trucks in the area. It might not be the roadmaster (in charge of track structure) but they'd know how to get a hold of him. He/she would be the person you need to talk to. We've got a crap load of used ones stacked up here...but I don't have a good trailer at the moment to move them. And it's for sure too blessed hot to load 'em by hand.

I was thinking like 6" C-channel or maybe a 6"x8" square tube. I would like to do a matching front. I need to see what I can find and see if I can find a plasma cutter or torch.
