On that note, I think I talked to one of this guys buddies one morning at the gas station in NR, he asked about my tires and we talked trucks a little .When he saw that I had a chip, he asked what I get for mileage, so I told him 15.5. He said he is getting 17 with a Superchip?(I think that was it) and one of his buddies is getting 25 with a Bully Dog and 38" tires.


No kidding. WTF???

Evening all! Happy June! Remember to support the dairy farmers this month as it's now June Dairy Month!!! We got out in the field today! I did some field cultivating with a JD 7710. The front wheel assist sure helped me make it through the puddles! Dad got a tad leery when I told him that, but was happy to see the tractor made it back in the yard and wasn't becoming one with the field! I gave my truck a bit of a workout today too! Last year, we had a tree go down on a field edge. Well, someone had the brains to drag it to the field road so it was not bad to get at from a dry point. I got out there and parked the truck, only to realize I was sunk in the mud about two inches (empty). I sawed up this rather large tree and loaded the truck with it. (the truc was now near full) Well I got in the truck to head for home and 4 wheel drive would not budge it. Four low got me moving and the 4 high got me the rest of the way out! There were a few mud holes that I had to gun it through to get home, but I made it and didn't break anything!
