no love for the new guy huh? lol anyways names Sam just picked up a 66 f100 shortbed a few months ago. original 352 and 3 speed that was put on the floor. Definitely in need of some work but i plan on doing a frame off resto. Just need a place to put it as a take it apart and im gonna start tearing it down. Really looking for a newer frame to drop the body on but i have so many ideas i dunno what im doing. Glad to see the NJ chapter is pretty active. Anybody have any junkyards or anything in jersey for these trucks? I need a hood and maybe parts of the bed do to rust :/

Not too sure about junkyards for that year, but you are already posting in the right area to find your answers, the 61-66 forum is a good place to start.

Ooops.. I'm located in Sayreville, middlesex county. And the GTG looks awesome.. but its hard to do much working 6 days a week lol but i would try to make it there.

My family actually owns a NAPA Auto Parts in West Long Branch so im there a few days and i do electrical work with my uncles company the other 3 days.

 

Sounds like a win/win job....lol
