Yet another good reason to keep the OBS

Incorrect. Our PSDs have mechanical fuel pumps, so no inertia switch. The inertia switch on gassers is behind the passenger side, lower kick panel. I have never seen the box these two are talking about.

I agree this has been out there for awhile. Anybody with a GM with On Star obviously has it. They can tell you anything wrong with your vehicle and more than likely can track your driving habits, speeds, where, when and why. I've heard of incidents where a vehicle was stolen, On Star told the cops where the vehicle was driving and when the cops where in position with the vehicle, On Star killed the engine. What a surprise for the thief.
However, this taxation business is over the top. Whether is mileage tax or speeding/seat belt tickets.
Hey Travis. You got a tire on fire in the back of your truck?

well it has one section where it says data would be retrieved for moments leading up to an accident. which i guess could be helpful. but anything more than that like using it to monitor ppls driving or track or whatever else is complete bs.

Chase, IMHO, the 'he' your referring to is just one of several law makers screwing our eye ***** out. 'He' does what 'he' is told to do or else! Remember JFK?? The chief is a puppet, period. But that's OK, I run him down just like most do. They are fall guys that do what they are told to do. Like put something like this into effect! I'm really curious of what you found in whitey?? When you find out let us know for sure. I mean, I'll trucks are so OLD OLD OLD, it's like they are almost ancient history. LOL
Yes sir that's the one.
