HOWTO install new blower motor - 1999 Ford E-250
#31
Thanks to your post, I don't have to drive in the dead of Ohio winter without heat and defrost. You inspired me to change my blower motor out. I took out the blower, tested the motor, went to get a new one and had it re-installed in less than 3 hours, and I almost never work on vehicles. I have a '97 Club Wagon w/ 226K miles.

Tried to send REPS again, even after all these years, FTE knew I'd already "REP-ed it." LOL. Just used this AGAIN to replace the blower motor in HIS Excursion. Luckily the trucks don't have the evaporator to remove, nor the battery and tray removal. However, I did find it easier to remove the battery itself to get to the two bolts holding a bracket full of junk in the way of the motor.
Really awesome write up. Easy fix too.
