1979 F250 6" lift pictures

I am looking for pictures of a 1978-79 F250 with a 6" lift. I am considering a Skyjacker kit for a 79 that I am going to be getting and would like to get an idea of what it would look like with the lift. I was also wondering what tire size would go best with the lift ( I don't want stuffed wheel wells).

Thanks to anybody that can help,
BFT302

I never grow tired of looking at you rig, nice truck! in relation to your other thread, i think 35's would suit your truck very well, that 6" lift just cries out for 35's (assuming the garage door will agree )

Nice truck NBC-Steve. Those are just the kind of pictures I was looking for. What brand lift did you go with on your truck?

Thanks! I may have to do some careful mesuring if I can try out a set of 35".

Thanks again, I have the Skyjacker 6" lift with blocks in the rear although I will replace the blocks with springs later on as $$ permits.

Ck out my garage the red cab with out a bed has a 6" Skyjacker and I have had 35" Boggers and 36" HUMMER tires with NO problems.

I also got the longer steel braided front/rear brake lines, drop pitman arm and adj steering arm link, all from Skyjacker.

Thanks for the response 77&79 F250. The truck looks good with the 6" lift and 36's. I am not a fan of stuffed wheel wells and your truck has the look I would probably be going for.

BTF302 thanks, yea I have plenty of room, could probably run 38's with a little front fender edge trim.

I am going to work on getting it to have some flex, it does NOT have any now, that's for sure. Want to use for rock crawling and that amount of lift will work great.

I got the lift kit system (all 4 springs replaced) but still used the rear factory blocks.

wanta79- nice truck!
biltFT- I never would let that stop me, build a bigger door, lol.

If you look at the tire size chart on the skyjacker website it says that you can run up to 40's but only 12.50 width so you will probably need spacers

I'm probably gonna run 40x13.50x17R yokohama geolander m/t if not I'll get the lift with the new springs front and back and add blocks then bolt on some 44 boggers
