1951 F1 throttle linkage return spring

Hi out there..
Is there anybody out there who got a photo on how the throttle return spring should be mounted on, or at the carburetor. It seems that the engine is running too fast, and I think the spring is mounted wrong.

Thanks

This is the best picture I have.
It hooks into a hole in the carburetor choke cable bracket.

I have that spring setup and had to add one going forward from the front end of the linkage to the generator (alternator) bracket to get reliable idle return.

Ross, Thank you - I`ve also used the bracket, but it seems that I have to tighten the spring.

what size motor are you running? My idle is too fast and i'm thinking it has to do with my spring setup also
