What is the best fuel milage you got out of the <a href="http://motorhaven.autoanything.com/">351w </a>and what was it in with any mods? what rear ends tranny tire size all that stuff thanks

 

It varies greatly on what transmission you are using.

 

with a fresh tune-up, summer grade fuel, and no load, my E150 gets 16 in town and 18 on the road.

 

Truck in my sig, I get 12.5 with 35's on it. With 34's I would get 14mpg.

(With an efi 302 I only got 8mpg)

If I took out the lift, spool, and put stock tires on it, i would get 18mpg Im sure.

 

got a 351w form a 74 fullsize car in my 84 4x4 f-250 preformace 4bbl and i get great gas mileage bout 14 with it if i watch it even bett on the highway to but if i over step a certain rpm and the 4 barrel kick in and stay with it man on man u get screwed run a tach and cruise in a certain rpm range which the vichince good at and show off when u wanna burn some gas up

 

I get 16.5 on the hwy. 1994 F350 5.8l, 5 speed, crew cab long bed, 4.10 gear.

My truck sustained 18 MPG for a while in last week's spring temperatures on the interstate! That was with zero wind, no traffic, and a clear night sky to enjoy. Quietest ride ever. The beast has 3.55:1 gearing, 31x10.5" Dunlops, an E4OD, and fresh fluids/filters throughout. It has 110,000 miles and runs like new.

 

Ive only been able to muster 13mpg out of my 96 Bronco. I have had alot of brake issues tho (dragging, locking up, pulsing, etc..) so Im not sure how accurate that number is. I have Bassani's complete street thunder system in my garage going on in a few weeks. I hope to get some decent mileage out of it (I just hope my right foot doesnt suddenly become lead filled ).
