So I put in my new FICM yesterday - Swamps Diesel 58V. The Insight says 50V (maybe this is as high as it reads??) and I get the FICM code p0611. The only concern about the install was getting the most distant harness to snap into place - it was definitely on though and the truck runs and starts great. I am going to give Swamps a call - any other thoughts?

 

Did you clear the codes after you installed the new FICM?

 

Yeah, I cleared the codes. Swamps said that I'll have that code forever since it is a 58V FICM - it is a false code because the voltage is out of range - too high. So anyway, I am relieved.
