351W VS 5.4 triton which one is more dependable?

Stock for stock, a 5.4 will out run/out pull a 351W (after all, it does have a significantly longer stroke than the 351). Yes, you can easily mod the 351 so it will outperform a stock 5.4, but a good intake, exhaust & custom tune can really wake up a 5.4 as well. Add a set of the new TF or CNC ported heads & some cams and you got a pretty hard running engine (albeit expensive). From what I've heard, the V10 is a real beast as well.

I still prefer the old 351, but I have no problems owning a modular as well.
I don't know if it's true but I heard The v10s were no good not just the Ford but all of them not sure if it's true just what ppl say


5.4 vs 351w 5.8 I don't know bout hauling never hauled with either one but I own a Windsor and my boss has a triton I drove both the 5.4 is a lot quicker but my truck is a older 3/4 ton his is a half ton so I'm guessing my truck is heavier anyway only work I had to do to mine is bypassed the heater core he had to replace the tranny and my truck is three times older
