it did take awhile to start plenty of rest while I keeped an I on the oil leval

how do you fill it if you pull the hpop?? I guess the oil cooler would still have a little oil

After cleaning out all the oil so I could see the bottom of the cooler housing, I just poured a quart back in before installing the cooler.. I guess that is the procedure. At least it started, but I forgot to loosen the flanges below, so yes I got a exhaust leak at the turbo..Got busy baling hay, so it might monday or tuesday before I can finish it up.

Doug its good you got it going again

when I had my turbo leak I took the clamps back off and greased them just like you told me I also pulled the turbo mount bolts out.. I started at the turbo ypipe connection and had to push on the ypipe as I sucked the marmon clamp up with my air rachet.[the push on the ypipe made the inner part of the ypipe go into the turbo this is where mine was hanging up] I could definatly tell I had the ypipe connection good because when it tightened up it would suck the turbo away from the pedistal [at the bolt by where the angled cac boot is] that little bolt was tuff to get in once it sucked it away from the pedistal but with some force I got it in. I also only had the one up pipe at the exhaust manafold loose that I changed. didnt want to mess with the other side Exhaust bolts suck.

you will get it
I didnt think it had to be that close either figured the clamp would suck it together
