1994 F-150 accelerating problems
So today in michigan there was flash flood weather. on my way home i was driving through floods and it got high enough to reach my doors. i made it through the water just fine and i didnt even go fast through it cuz i didnt wanna mess up the truck. but a few take-offs after making it through the water, it began to accelerate really slowly and shift way too early. I didnt have much time to check it out yet. What could be wrong and do you think its engine problems or trans? now there is also a screeching problem under the hood and its more than just needing belt dressing...it seems like a rubbing more than anything. and twice i started the truck and it began to idle at 2 to 3 thousand rpms within a couple seconds, but went back to 900 to 1100 after i put it in drive. if anybody has a clue what happened it would be appreciated...thanks

not sure if thats it but who knows...i let it sit lastnight hoping any water would drain that is sitting but it still drove like crap today. what it seems like is if you were to be running out of gas and its on fumes, but it doesn't stall...i have a full tank too so im not sure if maybe my fuel pump is on its way out or something
