Back from the exhaust shop last week, duals with turbo mufflers running out the side. Filled with all the correct liquids, installed my wife in the drivers seat while I manned the engine compartment. Started right up. Loud enough in the garage to make the golden retreivers run. Ran it at fast idle for 20 minutes to break in the cam and then started adjusting. It's running pretty good, still needs some carb tuning. Dual turbos are a tad louder than I'd like, I'll have to add some more sound proofing. Ran it up and down the street alittle, first time I've ever driven it. My wife took video's, but I don't know how to post them here. I could use some help on that. I had to remove the fenders to get it on my trailer, so it had kind of a hot rod/rat rod look to it. Sort of beastly. I'm going to leave the front clip off until I have everything tuned properly, it's so much easier to work on that way. Next is to get it insured and plated so I can put some good break in miles on it, instead of just cruising my street. Hopefully, the exhaust shop trip is the first and only time on the trailer.
