I have a lot of new parts and painted parts piled around...planning on putting the steering together and hanging my new master cylinder and booster. Anything I may accomplish beyond that is icing on the cake. I hope to post some progress pics soon.

Looks like I may be going to NV to pick up another truck. Let's see what the week brings.

Made a road trip to Pahrump, NV -958 miles round-trip an 41 hours. Let's see if we can get this project rolling forward.

Tonight, I got the 2wd 70's Ford truck frame put in there to act as a wagon to put all of my engines on. I have a few sitting on the garage floor. Also got the '39 Poncho put out back. Anyway, hoping to get the frame loaded, and out of there, so I can make room for starting on the cab rotisserie. Hope to have that done by weekend's end.

Cab is just about ready for primer. Then start on front fenders and hood prep for primer. Hope to get that done by Monday. Need to finish brake lines and gas line also.

Coaching baseball. And hopefully get my engine finished and my rear sump oil pan installed. Then, maybe mount the engine and tranny back into the frame. And wait for the weather to break so I can cut my hay. Twice a year, I have to watch the extended weather forecast like a hawk.

Tons of work planned, sadly, little of it involves my 49.
I have to drive out to the ranch on Friday night to help my father-in-law with branding some calves at the crack of dawn on Saturday. I should be backhome Saturday night. By then my parts should be in so I can install the clutch on my son's 67 Jeepster Commando.
I'm hoping to knock the dust off my Road King and take a little ride on Sunday or Monday even though my brother wants help framing up a shed. Maybe I'll get a chance to drive my truck a bit....I hope

Bobby

On Saturday the PGR (Patriot Gaurd Riders) have a parade planed to honor all the vets from all branches and firemen and policemen. I'm goin to do that on Saturday and on Sunday goin to do a show called "Beatersville" Its kind of a rad-rod oriented show but they do let shiney stuff in too. My buddy talked me into enering it. Since I just got mine back together, just barely in time I'm looking forward to it. Its kind an "ink and iron" type show. Lots of rods and rockabilly types with tattoos I'll fit right in I'll get sweetie to post some pics. She got a new camera that she can do that with instantly with now.
