More 52 F-3 bed questions

I have a '52 F-3 that is in need of some repair on the bed rails and stake pockets (among other things). I noticed that the stake pockets are curved like the 48 - 50's? Does anyone know if I can use the 48-50 F1 stake pockets on my F-3? I have been looking for good replacement unit, but they seem to be hard to come by, or they are in "God's country" which is a killer for freight shipping to the east coast...
Thanks,
w
