a/c stops cooling

When I come to a stop at a light or put it in park the a/c will stop cooling. It will just blow warm air. Does it just need free on?

berry1234 is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
Is it really warm? Or is it less cool? Get a temp guage, infared are the best and record the difference between the coldest and the air you feel at a light.

The way our 2007-2011 Expeditions are designed, the cooling will lessen at idle, it's a gas saving deal. It should not be warm by any means, but it will be less cool than when you are driving.

Yeah, that's normal. Again, measure the temps and report back, we can get a better idea of the difference.
