F150 Motor mounts - dropping '89 5.8L into '86 with 300 I6
Making great strides in getting the 5.8L closer to dropping it into my 86 F150, which is currently the home of a 300 I6. I started looking at motor mounts, but the mounts have different part numbers for the 86 and 89 motor mounts. Are there significant differences between the motor mounts of these 2 generations? Will I need to fab up my own mounts? Any help would be much appreciated.
