i know my truck has 7 ad and one ae injector i found a deal on ab injectors question is will they work and will they need and pcm adjustment? also will there be some powerloss or any thing like that. also can you mix ad and ab or all need to be same? i have a hpx and frx so i wont need ae injector when i replace em

AB and AD are compatable for your engine but mixing them up, not sure, doesn't sound kosher.. bump....

 

ABs came in the early 99. They provide less fuel than ADs, so it's a down-grade... Not a good move.

 

ok i figured about some proformace loss but i will stick with ad's and not ab for sweet price. also when i switch em out can i just pull injector suck cylinder with mityvac install injector and go or do i need to pull glow plug and turn over also besides mityvac the cynlinders
