I do not have an intake for a 300. Although I think i have one for a 240 which should bolt up but I dont know if you want that or not. As far as danas, I think I have one 3.92 ratio dana 44 and i still have the 2 speed. (someone else is interested in it, but If he decides that he does not want it ill post it)

My son and I need the emergency brake system (lever to shoes, all of it!) to fit our 1955 F500 with a 4syn transmission. It has the "drum" (band?) mounted on the tail shaft but that's all. We'll even need the brackets. Somebody pulled the rest of it long ago. Do you happen to have this set-up available?

I am sure I have all the parts you need. I am unsure of the condition though. I am at Purdue university through the week. I can check on the weekend. What other parts do you have?? I parted out a 55 f600 some years ago and still have some parts left over.

Our vehicle has only the drum. No band, no nothing else. What looks to have been a bracket was cut off of the transmission side with a torch. Our drum is pitted but may be sericeable. I'll try to send a PM with a list. No big hurry, many other projects prior to our state safety inspection.

Pretty common problem. There are no repro rear paneltruck anything available, except rubber and tail lights. Luckily, most of the metal back there is fairly flat or only curves in one direction (as opposed to compound curved like the roof). If you find a paneltruck with good rear sheetmetal, use that one!
I've been on and off patching my 50 together and you will find more as you start removing things, especially in the floor and door areas, but don't give up on it.
How are the rear doors? These too, are really hard to come by.
If you are updating the interior, I am still on the look out for a passenger jump seat, if you have it as it was an option. If you aren't using the driver seat either, pm me, I may take it off your hands.
Good luck and take lots of pics, helps with the rebuild and keeps ooglers on the board something to ponder.

Sent a pm,
I am building a 53 F250, long bed, 8lug, 300 I6, C6
I've had to cut budget so instead of $400 for intake and carb, i'm hoping for under $200, does the intake include a carb?
For the rear end, i would like to get a gear ratio of the mid 3's to retain optimal gas mileage. What is the width on the dana 44? and the gearing on the two speed?
Thanks

Not sure the exact, but the cast code on the passenger side of the block indicates that it's a 1987. I got it from a 1989-97 style truck, f150.
