99 7.3 wont start, wont crank

Like the title says my 1999 f250 7.3l won't start. It will not crank, just a click at the relay. I have replaced the starter relay and the starter. Batteries tested good. What should i try next? Any help would be appreciated.

try the relay/cylonoid on the firewall by the pass battery. put a scredriver across the 2 big post. if it cranks the cyl is bad.

Ive tried that...no go. However, there r two wires on the starter one big positive one and one smaller one. I broke the bolt (overtightening) where the smaller one hooks on. Im assuming this is the ground wire, so can it just go to the frame?

The starter is grounded when it is bolted to the bell housing. That smaller wire is not the ground wire, it is a positive wire but i don't recall what it is for.

The small wire puts power to the "Bendix" that energizes the starter motor. Ya need a new Bendix, if you have a starter rebuild shop close take your starter in and they can replace it.

I took the smaller wire and clipped it to its terminal on the starter...starter now cranks but truck won't fire. Im gonna check on fuel and thinking it may be a bad cps as well.
