83 F100 Carb Problem

I recently rebuilt my carb from a rebuild kit and all was good for a few weeks. Now, it starts fine and idles fne but then it starts to spit and sputter and when I look at the carb, gas is pouring out of it. It is like a float or something is getting stuck.

I think I am on the right track but am looking for some assistance to ensure I am looking in the right place for what is causing this.

If I let it sit again for a while, it will again start and idle fine, but again a bit later starts to spit and sputter and gas again starts pouring out of the card. No gas leaks out until after a bit when it starts to spit and sputter.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use a screw driver and tap on the carb where the gas line enters. You might have a stuck needle and seat, or the float may be sticking.
