DP Tuner messing with radio reception

I have noticed that my radio reception has been very poor latley and have not been able to figure out why. I read on another forum that somebody with a super duty had the same problem and blamed it on his DP Tuner. I have the DP as well so I went outside and tested the theory. I turned the key backwards so the tuner did not activate and the reception was clear as can be. I turned the key forward so the tuner would activate and it was very fuzzy again. Has anyone else delt with this problem or know an easy fix? I read about Ferrite Bearings but do not know much about them or how they work. Do you think this will fix my problem?

you could try a radioshack powerline noise filter. but I think those are meant to filter noise from a gassers ignition system. it still might work. theyre cheap anyways.

There is a lot of background noise you can pick up in your trucks to screw with the radio.

Mines crystal clear with the key in accessory also.

We put a DP Tuner chip in my dad's pickup and had the same problem. His is a SD, and it has something to do with grounding of the PCM can if I remember right. I think he had to add another ground to fix it. Call DP Tuner.

Thanks for the responses. I tried using ferrite chokes but with no luck. I sent an email off to DP with no response yet. We'll have to see what they have to say about it.
