Any of you guys have a grommet crimping tool that I can borrow? I am replacing the rubbers on the shifting arms at the bottom of the column shifter. Thank you.

You might try Harbor Freight, they sell a cheapo grommet setting kit for tarps etc. As I recall one of the stamps/dies is close to the right size. I decided to go with these:

Aetna - Linkage Products, Spherical Rod Ends, Rod Ends, Spherical Rod End Bearings, Rod End Bearings, Bearing Rod Ends, Self Lubricating Spherical Rod Ends, Self Lubricating Rod Ends, Spherical Bearings, Linkage Assemblies, Mechanical Linklage Assemb

Those won't work on the upper end of the rods, though

 

Mid Fifties is the only vendor I found that sells it with a $32 kit of 4 grommets and sleeves. I only need 2. I'll check out Harbor. Thank you.
