Motorcraft shoes sound just fine to me for sure. Like I said, I really didn't care too much, just really wanted made in the usa parts and got them.

The Motorcraft rear brake parts are ALL made in China.

Like Darin (and a few million others), I'd prefer USA made. It keeps the money (and jobs) here and the steel/manufacturing is generally better. But I also realize these automotive manufacturers are international in scope, so I really don't have too much of a problem with parts made in Mexico or Canada. The OEM glowplugs I stuck in are made in Ireland and my starter is Japanese. So be it. It's the MiC parts that put a burr under my saddle, though. The Chinese don't yet have the process down yet with regards to refined metallurgy and manufacturing and I grow weary of sending so much money/jobs to them especially for inferior parts.

Additionally, we are paying a premium for OEM like we always have, but since outsourcing to super cheap labor markets, Ford/Motorcraft aren't paying nearly as much for the labor/materials that they used to. This doesn't equate to better or less expensive parts for the consumer, but is simply more profit in the pockets of Ford (and potential early parts failure).

Sorry for the rant.

Now I noticed I've got a small oil leak in the valley somewhere, running down. Thought I replaced all the orings up there already for oil, not fuel yet though. I'm sure its oil though. Gotta dig in I guess.
Found my oil leak. The fitting I moved for the hpx line to be installed is leaking at the base, must be the oring. I remember reading Travis said to change that fitting, he blew a few orings out iirc. Ordered some orings from bob, I'll get a new fitting once the orings get here.
