Got mine in finally... I'm LOVING it! Still have to install the sub & backup cam, but the HD tuner is fantastic! Even the AM HD is phenominal...

Sure, but the mess you'll make inside your cab will be pretty bad. Flat file won't be so bad, just take much longer. If you use a dremel your cab will be coated in plastic dust. No way I'd do this with the dash installed.

I used a flat file (one side was flat the other was rounded) and it still made a big mess, in my garage thankfully.

Well I like the USB on the front, and the 3200BT has the rear aux too. I can plug my USB thumb drive or hard drive in the front jack at will. Sure I could have a cable hanging, but that's not what I'm looking for. And I like the built-in Bluetooth. It actually works quite well -- better than I expected.

SPEAKING OF -- any way to stream Pandora through BT?? I thought it was a given, but I can't figure it out. I'm bummed if there's no way to use the BT audio as a source. That means I'm back to using the wired aux input. Very NOT cool...

It can be done -- I've seen it. I just don't see how with this one. Seems kind of dumb to make a BT head unit and NOT have it BT audio capable. I'll be calling Pioneer. That way I can let them have it for making all these dumb iPhone head units. I do not and will never own an i-anything. They wanted an extra $100 for the 3300 model, and all it had was enhanced i-Crap interfaces. I couldn't care less, and I wasn't going to pay for it. When they come out with one that interfaces with my Android, then we'll talk. But for now, I'm okay with it not being able to use BT as an audio source (if that is indeed the case). I see above a pic of a Pioneer with the BT symbol in the source list. Maybe I'm just missing something...

I installed my Pioneer AVIC-Z130BT this week ,after seeing you post I accessed the Internet radio on HTC Android and was amazed at how great the sound is ! . The only thing I did was regester the phone with the BT on the system. Here is a photo of the directions and the system connected to the phone.

I bought one of the bypass things off ebay and think I have it wired correctly but still wont play dvd's. How did you guys wire yours up? I have the pioneer 2300dvd player and looks sweet in the truck. Will have to get some pics once I get everything all back together. Thanks

Most of the brake bypass set-ups are a constant ground. That wont work for these, they need to be grounded AFTER the radio is powered up.

This is how I had mine set up on my 2300dvd and my 4200dvd with a standard 12v relay from Autozone.

......87
..86....85
.....30

85 - Blue wire from radio (Remote control power)
86 - Ground
87 - Ground
30 - Mint Green wire from radio (Parking brake)

The remote control power gets power after the unit turns on, this triggers the relay to connect the parking brake wire to the opposing ground wire after the unit is turned on.

Hook it into the single wire that plugs into the parking break? I have a 6 speed and I see where one wire runs to a small plug above my emergency break. I have a relay bypass if this helps.

You dont need to use a parking break wire. The method I illustrated above is a work around that lets you play videos any time. Its a lot more hassle to find the parking brake wire.

On my Kenwood DDX516 I just wired up my harness and plugged it in. Not sure why, but I didn't do anything special and can play DVD's all day long.
