Hello-

I have an E99 7.3 and I"m going to be changing out my coolant soon, I've been running the green stuff with the Ford SCA, but I've found both Fleet Charge and the purple Prestone HD precharged conventionals at the Carquest nearby me. Having said that, which one do you guys like more? I havne't been able to figure out if the Prestone HD is DCA2 or DCA4, but from what I gather, the Fleet Charge is DCA2. So which flavor do you like, pink or purple?

Any opinions would be great.

With my E99, the only coolant I have found on the market that meets Fords requirements spec's is Napa.. (Ford spec is ESE-M97B44-A).. You can use your choice of SCA-2 or -4.. Not sure if you can get in a pre-charged jug.

 

I've actually been using the Napa coolant with the Ford additive for a long time, but I've read many good things about those two pre-charged coolants so I figured I would give one of them a try for this year's coolant flush. I guess I can't open my hood without covering my degas bottle first, though, with purple or pink coolant in there.
