Are you the guy that had a truck coming from Yakima, WA? I remember it was going to Canada, but don't remember who was getting it.

Yep i'm the guy , quite a story//saga actually ,,,, been "looking" for a 48/50 Fi for a while , driven several tanks of gas looking around Southern Ontario at $3500/4000 "starter" packages , rusty-rotten , crap, couple of which i woul;dn't have taken for free ,, anyhoo , get looking on FTE and H A M B , happen to be looking back 10 or more pages on the "for-sale" and come onto a 1 line ad for this truck , and an F4 , and C O E , in Yakima , e-talked to the fellow Greg Masset , got more info , but poor pictures , e-talked to a fellow i'd met last winter , from B/C , asked him if he was going to be south , and yes , he's going to Portland swap meet in a week , only "several " hours out of his way , as it turns out , anyhoo , pic's sent , more e-mails , 1 more "local" truck , called seller and bought the truck , e-sent out for shipping quotes , on a no-engined "roller" , settled on a broker , and shipper , and 10 days later met the carrier in Michigan , transfered it to our trailer , {after helping fix his blown hydraulic hose } , brokered it thru U-S /Canada customs myself , and here we are , safe and sound , with a GREAT starter truck , has usual fenders rust , minimal cab rust , good , solid floor , with trans cover , door access panels etc , missing rad , seat , and needs bumpers , oh , by the way , i paid $1200.00 for it , and the same to truck it home , and a few hundred in "other" expenses , but were well ahead of the game , that's my saga so far , ,,, as far as the Volare tortion bar set-up , i'v seen several , well done installs , and talked to several others who are happy with the results , so that's where were headed , sooner than later , i'l try to figure out how to do images , i'm just not good with computor stuff ,,,,,,,happy trails , "

Probably better told in a PM or email. You may want to edit that out as soon as possible.

Hey Jim,
That's a screaming deal - I'm ashamed to say I didn't really know what to look out for & my eyes got all misty with the flashy paint - Paid $6000 for a 1950 with rotted floors & cab corners. I like your truck - very nice - I would have killed for a floor that nice in the cab.
