no way. that is something completely different. that video is all in the front end.
the bounce we are talking about is in the rear end and the truck accually bounces going down the road. no breaks applied nor bumps in the road. it feels as if when your rotors get warped on the back and you use the breaks but our situation you dont have to use the breaks. anytime you are at 40 to 45 mph it just starts hopping like a ol school impalla with switches.

Give it time it may move to the front end I would try a new set of shocks and go from there if you have 50k on them you are ready anyway

I just installed the rancho adjustable shocks and so far I don't notice the bounce while unloaded with them set at the mid level (#5) for the front and soft (#2) for the rear.

yea give her another 100k then change them
the bounce seams to be quite common. all this time i thought it was just me. i bet it looks plum retartded riding behind our trucks watching the bed get air. lol

Like I said, I installed Bilstein HD. But if I were buying today, I think I would go with Rancho 9000XL. The benefit to you is that you can adjust the shock, so if you put them on and still have some bounce, you can try fine tuning them to find just the right stiffness.

Don't go with Rancho 5000. They are a good shock for light trucks/SUV, but not heavy enough for a Superduty. They would basically be the same shock you have now with the FX4 package.

Just my opinions, obviously.

you make a good point bpounds.

the adjustments may help alot with the bounce. may have to wait a few weeks longer to order them shocks.
