1978 f100 with a 89 351w swap

Today I just purchased a completely rebuilt 351w from a guy on Craigslist .. that's worth 2000 .. the company he got it from messed up on the shipping .. and he also got a 351m as well the one he really wanted so .. so I end up getting the 351w from him for.500 .. well I got the motor home and looked up the engine code and it says its an 89 model.. but what gets me .. is the engine came with a mechanical fuel pump 2barrel carb and manifold... so if its a 89 wouldn't it be fuel injected and with a electric fuel pump.. any answers?.. I called the guy back and he said its supposed to.be a early 80 model motor .. but the first 2 digits of the engine code stamped by the started. Are E9... any body who can help much appreciated.. and with installing the.351w in my 78 f100 were can I find the brackets for my ac power steering .. and if I had to change my ac compressor .. would it affect any thing ..???
