Anyone with a closed in filter box! So you don't suck up engine bay heat.
Volant makes a nice intake.

If you want to save some money. Do a search on here for (the gotts mod)
It modifies the stock intake and works just the same as the aftermarket kits.

The best intake for the truck is the factory one, possibly with a modified snorkel inlet at the fender well . All the aftermarket units look pretty, but dont add much function. THE stock unit is good ti 5000 RPM... you cruse down the road at 1600 RPM... what do you expect to accomplish ?

Is true, the factory setup is all you need.
It's already outside air inlet and the filter.
If not allowed to get plugged with dirt, flows all the air you can use.
There is no gas mileage gains from the change.
Remember at normal speeds your foot determines how much air enters the engine via the throttle body open angle, not the filter or pipes.
Good luck.

The best in my opinion is a modified stock intake. Its already a cold air intake that flows more air than a NA engine needs. The Gotts mod is great, but even then produces little performance gains, but sure sounds nice.
