Brake shudder

Brake shudder
My sons 96 F250HD 4x2 has a brake shudder. If you lightly brake it pulses but if you brake hard the whole front of the truck really shakes. I am guessing warped rotars and/or worn suspension parts. We did see some slight play in the tierods. Anyone have this issue and what fixed it? Thanks

I agree. Your rotors are warped and the play in the tie-rods is amplifying the shaking. Go ahead and put some quality pads on, check and repack or replace the bearings.
If your pedal feels spongy or soft go ahead and bleed them like sidewinder suggested but don't just bleed the front. Start in the back passenger and work your way closer.
Good thing is, is probably nothing major (for now) and easy to fix. If you wait too long, it could get expensive and dangerous.
Good luck!
