Till then I'm just going to have to be satisfied by following the progress of you guys who actually work on their trucks!
Badger.
I understand the busy with life comment.
There's some much going on here rite now too.
I really hope you find some time to work on your truck,we all need the excitement.

I did find a little time to pay with the Coe these past few weeks despite the heat.

I modified the c20 e-brake cable to work with an f-1 e-brake handle .
I installed the f1 brake pad,donated by Scott(Thanks Scott),to the c20 brake pedal.

I didnt like the c20 gas pedal so I used an Astro Van Brake pedal and fab'd my mounting brackets.
I also made a Brake pedal mount.
I found a mid 70's Dodge radiator but its for a slant 6 so I assume its a bit too small to cool a v8.

It's time to update your build thread...

I finally found this one... only because I really went diggin' looking for it.

it's time for an update

I saw the pic on a tow truck... hoping you have time to make progress.

it's a marathon... looking forward to seeing your next steps.

Hello
This was July 3rd 2017,moved to Las Vegas sometime before that.

These are random shots during the build

Truck is wired, gas tank cleaned and installed
Still need to wire the fuel pump, install windshield, have a local company make a driveshaft for it,bleed brakes, test the AOD transmission then take it for a drive.

Last Saturday the 21st

I love the gas tank. Truck looks very nice with the bed on it. I did not think that I would like a pick up bed on one always thought that it would look out of proportion but yours look great. Keep it going.

Thank you.
I believe that bed proportion and wheels make or brake a truck.
The gas tank idea came from watching roadkill.

Hey flattie,

Good to hear from you! My truck is coming along Sloowwwwwwwwwwwly. I got the front clip off and got it running a couple summers ago, and had to put it down. I am planning to get some more done to it this summer though. You can check it out here:

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-the-dead.html

Any luck on the overheating yet? Bad thermostat or water pump maybe?
