Helipirate’s 1978 Ford F250 Super Cab 4X4 Project with Lots of Pictures

I too can't wait to see the shaved drip rails painted. This was the first link I saved when preparing for my project truck because of them and I plan to do mine when I get to the body work portion. Keep up the good work!
BTW, that 47RH transmission is going to take up a lot of room. That's what I put in mine and I think it is about 10" from tail-shaft to transfer case.

Need a little help.
I have a 78 F250 supercab 4x4 XLT with factory Dana 60's, AC, tilt. I'm wondering if anyone knows how many of these were produced with these options. X26 VIN.
I've owned two F3 4x4 1979 F350's that were original, found that around 700 of those were made. I wondered why I've seen several of those in WA state, found out they were produced in CA but only shipped to WA and TX.
thanks

I lost everything about 18 months ago when I lost my job. I got rid of it all. On a positive note I am back in the market for another truck with the exact same ambitions for it. I am hoping to start with one that is more solid as far as the body goes. I still have all the pictures and am trying to figure out how to relink them to this thread for people.

Fixed most of the picture links on here. Started a new thread for my new truck here https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...super-cab.html
