Brand new to FTE and looks like a lot of good helpful people on here. Well here is my running board issue. I removed both running boards off my 07 explorer and took everything apart and cleaned and lubed the hinges very well. After reinstalling them I turned the function back on and they work great.....except that they are working backwards....you close the door and the running boards come out. You open the door and they go away. Any thoughts? I recently cleaned my battery terminals that were corroded pretty bad. I read that dirty battery terminals could damage the module that controls many electrical paths?
