I'm trying to get some dates together for an engine removal/re install GTG at my place. Getting a date that works for everyone is going to be tough, being that summer(busy time) is just around the corner. I'll work on some dates in the next couple of days and post them up and we'll go from there. Since fixing the major leak I had the other week I suppose it could be put off for a while, but really hoping it doesn't have to happen in December.

Found yet one more thing that the "mechanic" screwed up on my truck. I am so sick of turning around and finding yet something else that is messed up because he wasn't paying attention.
I'm gonna take one more run at him this week (because of cost). If I don't get anywhere (as in he does it for free), I may show up needing some help with oil leaks and A/C (condenser and accumulator). Anyone have any A/C tools they can bring along? The condenser is leaking.
The condenser and accumulator don't look too hard to do, but I don't have a vacum pump to evacuate the system and pull any moisture out of it.
If I take the A/C problem somewhere else, it will end up costing me around $500 including markup, labor and freon.

Ok, a little update on this.
The weekend of the 25th may not work. We may be in Milwaukee for a job late that week. I'll find out more in the next few days and let you all know what is going on.

Truck is at the "mechanic" shop this week. I'm out of town for three days. I told him I'm not spending any money. If he can take care of it, great. If not, I'll do something else. Unless he is going to take care of it, this will be the last he sees any of my vehicles.
I don't trust him, but taking it to another shop is going to be lots of $$$ and lots of @!#$!$@#%!#@$ (ok ... so that's already happening).
Let us know about the dates ... This is the closest one to me so far.
